JCSD-60 Surge protection Device 30/60kA Surge Arrestor
Surge protection devices (SPDs) are essential components of any electrical system that help protect equipment from damaging voltage surges caused by lightning strikes, power outages, or other electrical disturbances. JCSD-60 SPDs are designed to divert excess electrical current away from sensitive equipment, reducing the risk of damage or failure.
Introduction:
JCSD-60 Surge protection devices are designed to absorb and dissipate the excess electrical energy caused by power surges, ensuring that the equipment connected to the system is not damaged. JCSD-60 SPDs can help prevent costly equipment downtime, repairs, and replacements.
JCSD-60 surge arrestors are designed to absorb and dissipate the excess electrical energy caused by power surges, ensuring that the equipment connected to the system is not damaged. This SPDs can help prevent costly equipment downtime, repairs, and replacements. The devices are also designed to be easy to install and maintain.
JCSD-60 Spds is characterized by its capacity to safely discharge current with 8/20 µs wave form. T2 and T2+3 SPDs are available in specific multi-pole versions for all distribution systems.
Our JCSD-60 surge protection device is built with the latest technology and a sleek, modern design that will blend seamlessly with any electrical system. It is DIN-rail mountable, making it easy to install and use in a variety of settings.
One of the most critical features of our surge protection device is its nominal discharge current In 30kA (8/20 µs) per path. This means that it can withstand high levels of electrical surges without causing any harm to your equipment. Furthermore, its maximum discharge current Imax 60kA (8/20 µs) makes it a powerful tool in preventing damage caused by surges.
Our JCSD-60 Surge protection device is ergonomically designed to ensure maximum protection for all of your electronics. It is crafted from high-quality materials and carefully tested to ensure that it can withstand any power surge.

Type 1
SPD which can discharge partial lightning current
with a typical waveform 10/350 μs (Class I test). Usually employs spark gap technology.
Type 2
SPD which can prevent the spread of overvoltages in the electrical installations and protects equipment connected to it. It usually employs metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology and is characterised by an 8/20 μs current wave (Class II test)
Type - Surge protection devices are classified into types according to their discharge capacity. The term Class is also commonly used.
Iimp - Impulse current of 10/350 μs waveform
associated with Type 1 SPD’s
In - Surge current of 8/20 μs waveform
associated with Type 2 SPD’s
Up - The residual voltage that is measured across
the terminal of the SPD when In is applied
Uc - The maximum voltage which may be
continuously applied to the SPD without it conducting.
